Elina Desaine: the Slutvian Girl #1

I didn't never expected it earlier, but it seems, UK has it already: a controversial dating website which helps students to find a sex partner, it's called "Shag At Uni".

Why would we mention it specially on this forum? Because recently, a 20-years young girl from Latvia named Elina Desaine, now a student in the Exeter University, won their contest claiming UK’s Horniest Student. She beat off hundreds of applicants with her winning entry:


After being informed about that, Elina told that "this was her proudest achievement to date".

What a nice achievement! I did know that Latvian girls are sexy. But it seems, "Elina" is a name which appears too many times in the sex topics remembering the Latvian politician Elina Egle, hungry for sex as well...

Desaine doesn't even know the names of all her sexual partners, she tries to keep track with handwritten list using descriptions such as 'French guy' and 'third year' to recall her trysts.

Elina claims to have slept with 16 different guys whilst at university and says she prefers older guys.


Elina moved to the UK aged 6. Now she calls herself a Slutvian, and her university as Sexeter, and claims she has 5 or 6 buddies at the line to ensure she can get sex whenever she needs it.


Good to mention, that couple of weeks before getting crowned, her entire flat forced her into taking a chlamydia test. Luckily, she tested negative for the STI. Actually, Elina takes safety tips seriously:


Maybe next time Elina is banging in the computer lab she should Google for "STDs"...

For being safe and crazy, Elina's got the Year Supply of condoms, 500 pounds in cash, a brand new Samsung mobile, bit of alcohol and a year’s membership to Shag at Uni.

The Daily Mail called the contest REVOLTING, NY Daily News called it DEGRADING and even The Times of India covered the story with one user writing Great Britain should be renamed to SHAME BRITAIN.

And Exeter University waded in on the debate with this statement on Elina:


This is a good example of how a truly fun story could be perceived too seriously, and where it leads. Shag At Uni creators, obviously, launched this contest to create a buzz around their website, but the buzz obviously went around the "Slutvian Girl".

The competition was condemned as "dangerous" by sexual health experts who say it could lead to the spread of sexually transmitted infections.

Sexual health consultant Dr Peter Greenhouse said: "The more people who try to win this award, the more dangerous things will be for their friends. It is far from a brilliant idea in public health terms. If anyone is seriously trying to win this award then they desperately need to get a sexual health check-up and would be advised to get vaccinated against Hepatitis B and Human papillomavirus."

It's obvious, that this story was more about an experiment (or may be "sexperiment"), and Elina took part in it with just too radical approach.

In general, nothing from what was mentioned for the contest, tends to appear an absolute true. Elina really loves parties and sometimes going crazy to let her inner gene come out. But she's 20 years old. Then who can judge? 50-60 years old impotent? Is it forbidden to be wild and free?

Not at all.

Rarely someone mentions that fact on the web, but once Elina, as one of the best students, was invited to even meet with David Cameron, The Leader of the Conservative Party, and the actor Sir Michael Caine.

She also took part in many school activities like movement against drugs and violence and was awarded personally by the Mayor of London Boris Johnson.

Sadly to say, but people overseas not always could distinct a good healthy humor from the dirty phantasies of their minds!..

The girl's story is a fake. She confessed that she is a feminist who made up an exaggerated account of her intimate life to expose people's double standards. AKA the master key vs shitty lock bias of when boys versus girls sleep around. What really baffled me was her choice of 'slutvian' as a label which clearly demeans her country of origin as well as herself. I recall that the most promiscuous women in Europe are actually the British, which is strange given their below average appearance.

I am not sure if being awarded by Boris Johnson is a honor. Most recently he compromised himself as a bit of dumb not answering the simple IQ questions.
