you wrote that the districts full of gypsies are Kengarags (specially it's closest to the city part, so called "Maskavas" street.

When I was in Riga, I have been told that Maskavas Street is not save but I didnt believe them. Isnt it considered as an industrial area and it should be save.However, I must go to Maskavas Street during my visit to Riga because the company I am working with is located on that street.

Maskavas street is not an industrial area. It's probably the oldest Riga district which needs a heavy renovation now. You will see a lot of old houses in a very bad condition there (like on the attached picture). If it would be fully renovated, it would have another look. But for now a lot of poor people are living here which makes this district 'unsafe'. Try to choose the modest dress-up and don't walk by night here... in other aspects, it's quite safe.

Thank you, I have been ther and I went inside some fo these old building during the daylight and I saw small factory in addition to some srorages which let me think it is an industrial area. anyway I really loved the country and the nice people of it< Specially when arrving at the Air port very quite releasing the stress in Latvia.

another air-plain company is AIR BALTIC as well. Just check when the flight arrives in London!
