I would say it is now.

The weather is hot like in Barcelona or Nice. All beaches are full with nice young bodies and meetings. Enjoy cocktails, beer, spend your life without killing the brain cells.

So it's the best time in May-August. September-October may be cold already, but they are nice for renaissance lovers.

The climate is very moderate. This year we have had only few days above +30°C.

It's a typical European climate, similar to Polland, Netherlands, Germany etc.

Here in the UK it's been nuts, very unstable.

Hah, early September! I'm afraid you are too late in this time for sun I think, this year, it will be really cold in September! It's already getting much colder than just a couple of weeks ago...

Well I could either take my wet suit or even snowboard, depending on how cold.

I guess a good comparison might be the UK temperature in central scotland.

UK is more wet comparing to Latvia, but yes, temperatures may be some way similar.
