which hotel would you suggest me to stay in?

You may search these forums and discover this question is asked by almost everybody.
Get Riga in your pocket guide and you will find tons of information for tourists. Choosing the hotel depends ONLY on your budget, the hotel preference and so on. On these forums, we can't give such recommendations.

You may find information about Casino Royal and La Rocca on their website. But this all is luxury stuff. I am not sure it would fit your taste

La Rocca is actually about 15 minutes by walk from the city center. So all hotels are located near there, some way.

I wrote "I am not sure", that was the question, not a statement.

Of course, you're welcome to spend as much money as you can in Latvia

You don't have to visit it It's in the center of Riga. You won't simply pass it away when you are in old Riga.

The only thing you should take care of... don't piss on it

The answer is simple: you can meet them anywhere.
Tourists are mostly in the center of the city. As far from the city you go, as more local audience you meet.

It very depends on how you rate "best clubs", i.e. what they should include etc. Also it depends on your taste. Very generic question which is not possible to answer.

Almost each couple of years in Riga there are opened new clubs, so... each new club is probably "better" than its predecessor.

It's very strange to hear that from YOU. You're stating that you're coming from Cuba, but the Cuba is the current communism country so far. Also, China, Laos, North Korea, and Vietnam. I guess, under communism there are more than 2,5 milliards of people now. Nobody actually stopped it. Russians were strong enough to break from it, but it is only because this kind of state administration is not really suitable for Russians, for their mentality... As you may see, it's still the only from of administration for big crowds of Asian people.

Also I think, you don't know about communism enough to say something like that... Democracy has much more evil behind of it. It's just a question of PR. Somebody has more resources to wash your brains than others.

yuta you are right i dont know much about communism i dont know how was the latvian experience the only experience that i know from communism is the castro version. and the castro version sucked ass big time. you cant express yourself and people live under constant fear all the time. it dont matter how hard you work because at the end of the day you will be living in poor conditions while the ministers live like kings. now that is just the cuban version maybe the russian version was better maybe the north korean and vietnam version was better. i dont know about them, i only know what i saw, when i was in that island. anyways we shouldnt be talking about politics, is not the main topic.

You don't have communism for this.

Latvia has an exact model these days. It is the poorest country in EU. And one of the poorest countries in the world.

Welcome to the Capitalism.

Politics do not change the poor side of life....

Well cuba before the communist revolution was better then what it is now. before they had at least a wealthy and rich class now every body its poor except the big boss. only one political party, no presidential election. latvia might be going through hard times but if you make me choose to live between cuba or latvia i will say latvia where at least i am free.
