It rather depends on what is a "good" city and what is a "bad" city for you.
You may search our forums and already find some local places to visit. If you are up to Slavic girls, visit Daugavpils ;)

At first - visit Riga, Old city is beautiful. Take a guide (they are standing in the front of Blackhead house) and will offer to you services, always u can bargain

Ventspils - in Summer

Sigulda - very beautiful in Autumn
