These scams were common in SoHo London some years ago before the area got cleaned up.

I just saw on the iPhone "Riga In Your Pocket" that the US embassy has listed a number of establishments in Riga to avoid.

They tend to be hostess/strip type joints that have operated scams like this.

If they have kind of top of such scam places, could you provide what's Top3 on iPhone for that? Curious to know.

I would say, almost any night club in Riga and any other place are under consuming these days. I was fallen into consuming this year as well, when we were just having a little stag-party with my friend. It was Wednesday and we were caught in the center of Riga by two young girls, while almost the whole city was empty and every night club closed, so we were "chosen" this bar. They consumed us in the bar called Alibi, it's somewhere in the Old Riga. Beer costs about 3 Lats here, and more alcoholic drinks and cocktails starting from 5 Lats. "The shashlik" is about 15 Lats. These prices are crazy! We were left about 80 Lats in total and did not take any chance even to touch these girls, because they were 2 young.

From the list above, I've definitely heard about Babylon, Mary and Zephyr, these are clubs with the tension to be expensive but provide nothing special.

Mary! I know this pub. It's very dirty. On the entrance, you can meet very dirty girls. And there are dirty candles inside.
