Thanks for your hopes. As we all know, hope dies last

The crisis is here for about 3 years now. But nothing was dramatically changed. All things just stopped.
If you compare to France, where millions of people are on streets now against social reformations, we don't have such large crowd to come out. That's the main problem. We don't know the exact numbers, but if you deduct by pensioners, babies and women, there will be only few thousands from around 2 million of total living in Latvia who can fight.
Then let's not forget, there is a conflict between Latvians and Russians, so Russians in these thousands most likely won't strike against anything. They have a chance to live until the last possible moment, then relocate to Russia which is just step behind the border.
Also, let's don't count Latvians which just don't simply care about what happens, because they earn enough, this way or that way.
So in results, we won't have huge army of fighters. That means, no army = no war, and we accept any government we have, because we have no power to change it. Latvia is a very small country. Very small.
I don't think we are "patient against the government" in our souls, but nobody knows where to start it different way. People are leaving Latvia because we have almost European prices here, but not European salaries. Those working in UK or Ireland now, actually work for two countries instead of one. And they work even harder than if it would happen here. It was just their last chance to work and getting paid well for it, that's why they relocate. If such work would be present here in Latvia, if a regular person could get 700-800 pounds per month as a lowest salary, I don't think they would relocate somewhere.
There are too many things involved in this crisis to list them all, but I hope you can get the quick idea now
