Latvians by nature are negative and sceptic to every thing people do, there are always more negative than positive. Prostitution usually is created by wrong politics of country. Those who are looking for such opportunity, always will find it, and I don't think that parade can stimulate prostitution. I believe the prostitutes don't take a part of such activities normally. I know ladies who participated that they are serious in business, active life, they are housewives. Being public person for some time, I don't listen to opinions and comments any more, I just do.

It was remarkable that on the Parade, many Blondes were dressed in Pink and White. This strictly reminds us "Playboy" or "Penthouse" brand, thus many girls were wearing "rabbit's ears". Don't You think there would be better to choose other colors or more original dress-up, more related to Latvian traditions? It appears that chosing something "traditional", You didn't go far from the "standard" stereotypes... and having so many "cheerbands", may be it would be definitely worth to make them more different?..

It was funny to see that close to 70% chosen pink, even requested dress code was red, pink and white. First parade showed up also some mistakes and let us learn for future. That is why we choose yellow for next year, telling society that blondes prefer also other colors. If parade would be in traditional costumes (which we also had this time) or whatever they wear, it would not have such attention. We requested team work and most stylished, most funny, most original, most sportive etc. got prizes. Participants had good sense of humor, they were proud to show up that they are blondes and this is brave step.

About those littles doggies we can see on pictures. Could You tell the upcoming blondes, what are their species? They are so little and funny. Is it some kind of "Blondes dog brand"? ;)

The "Latvian girl phenomenon". It's obvious that no other country in the world has to say so many words about beautiful girls and women living in there. WHY do You think Latvian girls are so attractive? Are there any historical, political or ethnical reasons? Why do You think we don't speak about "British" women, or "German" women? What could be such phenomenom built on?

Latvians have perfect body proporcions, prefer healthy lifestyle, in general they are good in shape and attractive. We always joke that blondes prefer good shoes than dinner. I believe Latvia is kind of paradise and dream country for man as woman here taking care of themselves more than in any country even they are married and have kids. Man loves woman also with eyes and appearance here in general is more esthetic than in Great Britain.

In the economical crisis times such actions like Blonde Parade are a bit desperate. Even Blondes feel not enough! But where are their MEN actually? Where are Latvian men, in general? Don't You think beauties have more chances to save this little country than ministers?

Woman has stronger intuition than man and in crisis situations woman has more natural power than man

To my mind, Latvian political situation now is close to chaotic, short term economical and political overview which will bring us back to 1997.

Do You think the "Blonde" color may become some way a national hair color for Latvian women in the future? Let's imagine the country where only blondes walk by streets... astonishing and attractive for tourists, isn't it?

There are a lot of different shades of Blonde hair and Latvia definitely has own Latvian shade. Some brunette when she put fake hairs during the parade told: "Oh my God, never in my life I had such attention from man. I will change my hair color after parade". But this is not what we want. We have to love our hair, ourselves as we are.

Yes, I am typical "Latvian blonde", light grey blonde. Just after they high school I wanted to become platinum blonde, so I colored hairs lighter. We always joke – when we become smarter, our hair boots become darker

How would You describe the "real" lifestyle of the Blonde, ruining stereotypes? In Your opinion, how the real Blonde should live? Let's say, Germans have the famous "Kinder, Kueche, Kirche" for their wifes, what would be the family motto for Latvian blondes?

To be successful we need balance in life – career, family and fun. Hope this could be the best motto for Blondes.

Depressions and bad moods become Latvia even more powerful each day, but what You did, really deserved a good impression! All our project maintainers liked it. Not a miracle You have had so many replies from all over the world. As usually it happens in Latvia, we don't see the things in front of our eyes, but it seems this time You've got luck to catch them. Thank You for Your actions - and good luck in the next years! Who knows maybe UNESCO will accept the May 31th as the International Blondes day as You already proposed. Stay tuned, and thank you for the interview!

P.S. We invite all Blondes Association members to participate in our discussions. Just set up your account for free, upload your pictures where we can see you are Blonde, make sure you are a member of LBA, then contact me via Private Messaging on this forum mentioning you come from LBA. Your profile will get then the "Go Blonde" mark like it's visible in the Marika's posts.
