I just joyned your forum looking for friend in Latvia and I need from Latvian people please to provide me with web sites for the best locations in Latvia for tourism. and the proper time in the year.and if there is any cruising becuase I love it.

If by "cruising" you mean little ships which you could rent for couple of hours and go down the river, they for sure are available. In the center of the city, you just need to walk near the river in the Central Station direction, and you will see few cruise ships parked.

The best locations in Latvia for tourism... well, visit such cities as Talsi, Kuldiga, Liepaja, Ventspils. Definitely visit Kolka.

The most proper time in year is between May and August. Other months are quite cold and rainy.

I would like to know the Latvians openions tword Arabs or other nations, Are there any type of RACISM, although I didnt see or noticed this during my visit to Latvia and that was only in Riga, how about other cities people are they Friendly and is it secured areas ?

I would say we have no racism, but kind of 'misunderstanding' of other nations. As you might know, there are not the best political conditions even for Russians living here for hundred years. I guess Russians in some cases have Arab roots as well; at least when Napoleon stormed Moscow in the beginning of 19th Century, he called it an Arab city.

So I guess for Arabs, there will be nothing critical taken against, but it's a fact - you will be seen with kind of "other" eyes. Just my opinion.

Actually I dont like to generlize because people are differents, there is the good people and the bad in every country or city or even in the same house brothers sharing one mum and father but they have different attitudes.

really all the girls in LV love hummus? Damn!!! Why didn't you said it to me 2 weeks ago?? I was in Riga since Apr 23th !!! hahaahaha next august or september I will go to LV again... so... will go to Greece before to buy hummus... :P hahaha
the best hummus I've ever tryed was in Athens... have you ever been there? if you ever go, ask me for the address of a restaurant ... I use to go 4 times a year (not to the restaurant... to Greece ) but each trip I trip to go to dinner there...
