Hey all,

I'm a 35 year old mining engineer from Australia and I stumbled upon this website while I typed Latvian girls in Google and thought I'll check it out. I'll just mention a little bit more about myself - I love to travel, see new places and possibly experience different cultures. I absolutely love to cook and try out new recipes. I love spontaneous drives, hiking in the mountains, getting drenched in the rain. I love to have a nice discussion with someone and look at things from different perspectives.

I have no idea how this works, but if any girl is interested in getting to know me then simply flick me an email and I'll get back to ya! If anyone else (not just girls) would like to have a chat or a friendly discussion, then just shoot me an email.

Cheers!

Welcome on board, Jeebok!

So, what is the favorite dish for you so far? I mean, that one you could cook...

And, .. mining engineer - what this profession does stand for, what you are doing for your job... just curious...

Sorry to say - but this is a forum, where we could discuss something in public and make it useful for others, too... emails are not for me at least while I'm being here

Thanks yuta!

My favourite dish is called biryani. It's a combination of meat and aromatic (basmati) rice with other spices like saffron, nutmeg, mace, etc. I have perfected cooking it over the years.

Mining engineering is about planning and designing open pit or underground mines for extraction of mineral ores or coal. It is a versatile role and can involve other aspects of a mining operation. I mostly work in open pit metal mines.

Yeah, I don't mind have a discussion in public as there's a lot of opportunity to share information and ideas and learn new things. What do you do?

Somehow it's not allowing me to post the message, saying URLs, links or email addresses are not allowed, although I didn't put any... It was the smiley face I used, I figured out. Most likely because it is an embedded link!

Sorry for that! I have asked our programmer to fix that, and now I think even newbies could post smilies enjoy...

Biryani: I guess I know what this is about... some time ago we have visited the vegan Rāma restaurant in the very center of Riga, located at K.Barona str., 35. It belongs to the Krishna Consciousness Centre, and they suggest various vegetarian dishes for very modest prices (at least it was couple of years ago)... The dish you describe looks similar to what I've tried. Yes, it's tasty!

Mining engineering: oh well, it seems out of my understanding! Obviously not a woman's profession...

What do you do? - that's a curious and hard-to-answer question Now I am just typing this message... in a hour I will take a walk with my kids... at the evening I'll enjoy the lite dinner and the tea, and closely to the night time I'll try to watch some thriller movie, like... "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" I've recently rented

Yeah ISKCON might have a vegetable biryani on their menu or even a vegetable pulao, which is similar to biryani but slightly different. I'm glad you liked 'em. They are some of the north Indian delicacies, mostly originated in the middle-east though.

Actually we have a lot of women working in the mining industry now, starting from truck drivers, excavator operators, blast crew members, to geologists, mining engineers. We have a lot of resources so it is a huge industry as per the total revenue generated.

Sorry, I meant 'what is your profession?'. It appears to be around 6 pm there. It's past midnight here. I looked up 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' and it does have a good rating on IMDB and rotten tomatoes, I might watch that. What other type of movies do you like?

Surprised to know - but what they are looking for?

Do you have... umm, kind of minerals or oil? I always thought Australia is the land of kangaroos and nothing else

You are so far located from Latvia - how did you know about this country?

Jeebok:
what is your profession?

I wouldn't call working as the tourism consultant as the profession, most probably it's a well-paid hobby which gives me a pleasure

Jeebok:
What other type of movies do you like?

Different. It's almost my husband who chooses the movies for the evening watch
BTW we didn't like the movie I've mentioned above.
It appears UK spies were all half gays and this gays topic stays out of my sympathies...
