I'm going next Friday to Riga and I heard that it is not safe to pay in discos with the credit card because it will probably be overcharged. Can anyone confirm/contradict this? Thanks, John

my first in time in Riga was i am not even sure 2007 but after this 3 months i decide to stay longer but during this time Riga changed a lot!!

I visited Riga in the wrong (cold) season, but still liked it a lot. There were independence day celebrations and the ''lights festival'' which were fun to watch.
