The prairies here are very beautiful. After graduation, I plan to stay here and buy several houses. If I sell my apartment on the border of shanghai(80 square meter of size), I can buy a house here in the downtown. However, If I wanna buy one apartment in shanghai(80 square meter of size), then I have to pay the mortage for 10-20 years. Yeah, that's the difference of vacant land and old continent.

I am here now in winnipeg, Manitoba. During winter here will be covered with snow while during summer here is just like what shown in the movie 'Fall Of Legend'. Actually houses here are very cheap. If you have 140,000 canadian dollars then you can buy one in downtown, which means if I sell my apartment in the border of shanghai, then I can buy one here, so the first house is not a problem for me. During the future life, I plan to accumulate my monthly earnings to buy other ones. In fact, the apartment in shanghai of my family is much more expensive than that, about a little more than 3 times of that.

I think some part of east europe was once ruled by Swedish Empire or teutonic knights, at last they lost their territory to Russia.

Ok, I'm getting this now. So far Latvia is definitely ruled by US and European Union! This state couldn't speak about independence, because all major events are regulated by other forces.

I'm still not sure why would you need to buy several houses? There's just one enough for good living as more properties you will have, as more headache...
