Foreign Student Life in Riga Latvia

Hello everybody,
I got university admission from RTU. I would like to ask you if its possible to fund yourself in Riga? Are foreign students able to get part time jobs in Latvia?

You will rather don't get a good well-paid in Latvia, if you are not Latvian and/or if you don't know the Latvian language. Studying in some of Latvian Universities doesn't give you an opportunity for a qualified job in Latvia (may be in other EU countries, but not here).

P.S. In my opinion, guys or girls, you don't know even English well. Hard to get in your postings! What chances do you expect from the country where only small percentage of people know English? Even most of Latvian government doesn't know English well!

I am Indian and i am doing MBA in turiba university, i planning for vacations in USA. will i get USA visa from riga? and do i have to show some funds in my bank account which will suport my documents to get visa??

You should better ask this in USA embassy, I truly don't know... Most possibly, the only way to get to USA, is to win Green Card. Considering the migration amounts to USA, I suppose, it's not quite easy to get visa, specially for non-Latvian citizen, and specially the visa valid for jobs (I suppose, getting a simple tourism visa is not so hard).

Did you contact McDonalds, or Hesburger, or other product shops?
They always have vacancies. Truly not sure if they would be part-time... but they always do
